BlueDot is growing and as a result, we are looking for Demand Generation Specialist to join our team! 


The role creates and executes demand generation campaigns working closely with BlueDot’s marketing, sales, and business development teams. In addition, the successful candidate will drive social media engagement, increase followers, and create compelling content.

BlueDot protects people around the world from infectious diseases using human and artificial intelligence. Our software-as-a-service solution combines medical and public health expertise with advanced data analytics to track, contextualize, and mitigate infectious disease risks. Our global early warning system combines more than 100 datasets with proprietary algorithms to deliver critical insights on the spread of infectious diseases. In December 2019, we flagged an undiagnosed respiratory syndrome in Wuhan, China. In January 2020, we published the world's first scientific paper on COVID-19, accurately predicting its global spread. Our team understands the complexity of the challenge in front of us – and that the urgency to solve the problem has never been greater.

What you will do in more detail: 

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and business development teams to generate demand for the BlueDot SaaS platform using online and offline marketing tactics. 
  • Build and manage effective marketing campaigns at various stages of the customer journey 
  • Develop and manage lead nurturing campaigns 
  • Manage BlueDot’s participation at virtual and in-person conferences and events 
  • Drive social media engagements and impressions with the goal of increasing followers, creating compelling content, and engaging audiences 
  • Measure, optimize, analyze, and report on the impact of the demand generation campaigns 


What you bring to BlueDot: 

  • BComm or College Diploma in Marketing or related field 
  • Experience with Demand Generation in the past roughly 2 to 5 years 
  • Experience using a marketing automation solution (such as Pardot, HubSpot, or Marketo). 
  • Experience working directly with business development and sales teams 
  • Experience with webinar solutions 
  • B2B technology experience 
  • Strong verbal and written communication 
  • Willingness to learn and wear multiple hats 
  • Healthcare marketing experience is considered an asset/bonus

We are working fully remotely due to COVID-19 until at least January 2022 – post-pandemic we will continue with our remote-first culture with the opportunity for a hybrid/flexible office space in downtown Toronto accessible to our team but without the requirement to work from the office.
