BlueDot continues to grow and as a result we are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to increase the quantity and quality of Marketing Qualified Leads within our monthly budgets to ensure adequate sales pipeline coverage.

BlueDot protects people around the world from infectious diseases using human and artificial intelligence. Our software-as-a-service solution combines medical and public health expertise with advanced data analytics to track, contextualize, and mitigate infectious disease risks. Our global early warning system combines more than 100 datasets with proprietary algorithms to deliver critical insights on the spread of infectious diseases. In December 2019, we flagged an undiagnosed respiratory syndrome in Wuhan, China. In January 2020, we published the world's first scientific paper on COVID-19, accurately predicting its global spread.

What you will do in more detail:


  • Run multi-channel marketing via HubSpot, including but not limited to social, search, display, and email.
    • Continually increase number of marketing qualified leads per month.
    • Continually increase efficiency of spend.
  • Increase ratio of MQLs who convert to SQLs.
    • Through constant consultation with Sales team, refine profiles of who we target.
    • Continuous improvement of marketing methods and materials.
  • Deliver clear, detailed reports on what’s working, what’s not, and why.
    • Increase efficiency of spend on all platforms
    • Demonstrate this week-over-week to Sales team, leadership, and company at large.


What you bring to BlueDot:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 3 years experience in a marketing/communications role  
  • Ability to execute quickly in an organized manner, paying very careful attention to detail
  • Successful experience within early and growth-phase start-ups
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively with colleagues in a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • No ego and an agile approach, learning quickly as you go
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, delivered with confidence to all audiences, backed by research, and free of arrogance
  • Ability and desire to build strong relationships using active listening skills
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and empathetic people skills
  • Curiosity and a strong growth/learning mindset
